The Edsel of Things

When I was sailing, instead of raising the chute or flying the spinnaker, I said, raise the Edsel!

Now, for sailors and non-sailors, when flying the Edsel, hundreds of things can go wrong and do.

It can be the rigging, the crew or the skipper(steersperson) which usually was me, that most likely why 90% of the problems were mine.

Ask my crew or ex-crew, they adamantly say it was me!

Regardless, to this day, when things go wrong or there are problems, it's an Edsel perception!

Now, for those who do not know what the Edsel was, look up the Ford Motor Company;. I am not criticizing Ford, we all make mistakes.
