There is a price for everything, as all consequences, whether immediate or delayed, have a cost. It comes down to how much we are willing to pay.

Not being aware that every act, thought, and state has a cost is denial. Yet, we do it, think it and make compromises.

Instant gratification.

And then, someday, the true cost of that instant gratification comes due, most likely compounded and depending on the initial act, for the good or for the worse.
