Successful People Do Not Make Excuses!

Those six words have stuck with me ever since I first read them many years ago. I am not 100% compliant.

My wife and I have just gone through a massive kitchen and bathroom renovation, and if something did not work, someone was late, a part was late, it was always someone's fault!

When I responded to someone's excuse, successful people don't make excuses, I got the deer in the headlights look.

Don't get me wrong, I am satisfied with the outcome of our renovations, the moral of this iteration is, expect excuses.

Many tell me that is the way the world is; to me, that is only an excuse!
